How does Mura work without an inflating cuff?

Mura is being developed to use miniaturized ultrasound to follow subtle movement in the artery and interpret those signals as blood-pressure measurements, without squeezing your arm.

Has Mura completed validation?

Not yet. Mura is completing its own validation. We plan to publish the results before shipping. The research linked above supports the underlying wearable-ultrasound approach, not the finished Mura product.

Do I need to stop to take a reading?

Mura is designed to work while you wear it, without buttons or a separate measurement routine.

How should Mura fit?

Wear Mura snugly around your upper arm with the sensor against your skin. The current design targets upper-arm circumferences from 220 to 420 mm.

Is there a subscription?

No. There are no planned membership fees or recurring subscription costs for the core Mura experience.

When is Mura expected to ship?

The current estimate is Spring 2027. Because Mura is still in development, timing may change. Reservation holders will receive updates by email.

Where will Mura ship?

U.S. shipping is included for the 50 states. U.S. territories are not included in the initial shipping area.

Is the $99 reservation refundable?

Yes. You can cancel before shipment for a full refund of the $99 reservation payment. Completing the purchase later requires your separate authorization.

What if I do not complete the purchase?
