You can wear its screen-free band alongside your watch or ring. Mura’s first release uses its own readings and the context you log; it does not import data from other wearables.

Mura sends ultrasound waves beneath the skin and reads the returning echoes. These carry information about movement in the brachial artery and the boundaries between muscle and fat layers. Mura’s software turns those signals into measurements you can follow.

These readings describe the sensor location. They are not total body-fat percentage, total muscle mass or visceral fat. A stable reading at the arm does not establish muscle preservation throughout the body.

No. Start with the part of your life you want to understand. Mura records cardiovascular readings automatically; you add relevant details about meals, workouts, sleep, caffeine, alcohol or stress.

A few focused check-ins give your readings context. During an experiment, log the habit you’re testing and anything unusual that day. The first release combines Mura’s own readings with your manual logs.

The Mura app handles setup, syncing, insights and progress. Our launch compatibility targets are iOS 17 or later and Android 12 or later.

We’ll publish final phone compatibility, syncing requirements and offline recording capacity before shipping.

Mura will never sell your health data or use or share it for advertising. That includes your measurements, lifestyle logs and the health patterns inferred from them.

Optional research or model training requires a separate opt-in, including for de-identified contributions. Declining does not restrict the core experience.

You can view and export existing data without charge after membership ends, and request account and data deletion separately. Our launch requirements include encryption in storage and transfer, limited access and checks on service providers. Read our data and privacy commitments.

Lightweight, screen-free and worn on your upper arm. The adjustable woven band holds a sensing module against the inside of your arm, with your insights ready in the app.

Keep your attention on your day while Mura records in the background. We’ll provide final sizing, fit and skin-contact guidance before shipping.

Plan to have access to a validated upper-arm blood pressure cuff for setup. A cuff reading gives Mura a reference for calibration; a cuff is not included in the kit.

Mura takes subsequent readings without inflating a cuff each time. We’ll provide the final setup steps, compatible-cuff guidance and recalibration schedule before you complete your purchase.

Sleep: Mura is designed for overnight wear. Follow your nighttime cardiovascular patterns alongside your daytime readings.

Exercise: Mura is designed for everyday activity and exercise. Vigorous movement affects signal quality, so reliable readings depend on the activity and conditions.

Showering and swimming: water resistance testing is in progress. We’ll publish the production device’s rating and specific wear guidance before shipping.

Our launch targets are up to five days between charges and a recharge in approximately 80 minutes with the magnetic USB-C cable.

Battery life varies with use. We’ll confirm production performance before shipping, so you know what to expect from your band.

The Mura Band costs $249, plus required membership. Here’s how payment works:

• Today: a $99 refundable deposit toward the device price.
• Before shipping: the remaining $150, only if you choose to complete your purchase.
• On activation after delivery: membership at $14.99/month or $149/year per band, through separate enrollment.

Your first year totals $398 with annual membership or $428.88 with 12 monthly payments, before discounts and applicable taxes. The deposit is part of the device price.

The device purchase includes the sensing module, adjustable band, carrying case and charging accessories. Standard shipping to supported US destinations is included.

Membership turns your band’s readings into an ongoing understanding of your health: new measurements, personal insights, guided experiments and progress tracking.

It is required for ongoing use and costs $14.99/month or $149/year per band, plus applicable tax. Choose your plan when you activate Mura after delivery. Reserving does not start membership or authorize recurring charges.

If membership ends, your existing data remains free to view and export.

Your plan renews on the same monthly or annual basis until you cancel. The reservation deposit does not enroll you in membership or authorize recurring payments.

Yes. Email support@muraband.com before your next billing date to cancel future renewals. Membership stays active through the end of your paid period.

After that, your existing data remains free to view and export. New measurements, experiments and insights require active membership.

Canceling membership leaves your device order and stored data in place. Returns, order cancellations and data deletion are separate requests. See membership cancellation and refund details.

No. Your existing reservation keeps the terms presented when you placed it. We will not automatically move you to a subscription.

Your $99 deposit reserves a Mura Band and counts toward its $249 device price. It gives you a place in the launch without committing you to the remaining balance.

We’ll contact you before shipping to complete your purchase. You decide whether to pay the remaining $150; we will not charge it automatically.

You can cancel before shipment for a full refund of everything paid, including tax. Membership begins through separate enrollment after delivery.

Our shipping target is Spring 2027. Standard delivery is included to all 50 US states and Washington, DC. US territories and international destinations are outside our launch coverage.

Your band includes a one-year limited hardware warranty from delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship during normal use, alongside your applicable consumer rights.
